For over a year I have been researching neuro-endocrinology on my own. I LOVE this subject and hope to study it for the rest of my life in a formal and informal way. I have predicted Testosterone as the culprit in many of Justin's current behaviours and intense mood swings and OCD. I have been discussing a testosterone blocker with our Psychiatrist as well but her experience with this subject is limited so she is hesitant to go forward without extreme monitoring. I agree with her on this, but have continued my own research. Today I joined twitter and started following practically every science publication out there...AND FOUND THIS!!!!! http://www.physorg.com/news/2011-02-extra-testosterone-empathy.html

So interesting!!! I always suspected Brady had a high testosterone level when he was a toddler. He had an unusual (haha) interest in girls. He also grew hair on his testicles at a very young age. Wow - that's an uncomfortable thing to type. Anyway, I'm going to get his level tested, I'm curious!!

Please know that I am a poet and a scientist...so how I deal with discomfort is I ask questions, I manipulate words and rhythms and I dance around issues that I feel strongly about. When I use the word dance, please know that I am no ballerina...I prefer sharp, awkward maneuvers that express my passion. So when I dance around issues, there is no guessing how I feel about them...take nothing personal but please
take action. zen jen |
