We hope you are inspired to take on a new adventure and support others in doing the same.
*We believe in Peace and Love and that all people must be provided with essential supports in order to feel Guru V - or 'groovy.'
*We give those whose lives are molded by autism and similar diagnoses the ability to say YES
to their adventure...whatever it may be.
*We believe that outdoor adventures and Freedom Sports play essential roles in expanding people's independence and confidence.
*We facilitate connection by providing places, adventures and people equipped to enhance the lives of those we serve & their unique needs.
*We believe the phrases Go Big and Go Home work together and must be met with BIG commitment.
*We believe we need MORE people in order to achieve a paradigm shift.
*We believe that all people have something to teach and are therefore Gurus.
*We inspire awareness and action in all people.
*We believe that autism is a tool for awakening and paying attention and being present are essential.
Autism is the Adventure, Feelin’ Guru V is the goal.
Never give up. Try try again. Live OUTside the box.

Feelin' Guru V...
What does it meeean?
Although seeing a double rainbow is almost as awesome as seeing a family affected by autism embody their badass potential, it is still fairly rare.
Why is it rare?
Because the support level required to maximize freedom for families is far greater than what the current paradigm affords.
Grocery shopping, sleeping, maintaining financial stability, even staying together in their homes...these are adventures that many families struggle daily to achieve. So, as you can imagine, getting in your car and driving to the beach for the day, hiking, biking, canoeing, skiing or even a stroll in the neighborhood pose extreme risk to some families and individuals living autism adventures.
Our family participates in an array of adventures because we want to LIVE. We push the envelope. Whether we sit at home or venture into the mountains and even in the places in between, our day is a symphony of events orchestrated by the neurological chaos of autism. No matter what we do, we are challenged and always on the 'razor's edge of now.' -E. Tolle
Our philosophy is dive in, say YES, Go Big and Go Home.
Recently, Guru V People went Big by becoming a Nonprofit Corporation. We have a tremendous and diverse 13-member Board of Directors who all have a vast array of experience, compassion and knowledge in the areas of caring for and inspiring people with an urgent need for additional support in order to achieve maximum quality of life. Every member is fully invested in our family and the unique way we approach life, which is why they are so committed to our Mission of helping more people Feel
I am Jen Hagen and I am the Founder and Executive Director of Guru V People. My Vision is big, bold & empowers the lives of many by simply saying YES to adventures that seem impossible.
In order to say YES to this paradigm shift, we need more people, NOW. Great Understanding Requires Urgency, Vision and People.
Because our belief is that we are all Gurus and have something unique to teach and since we are all affected by autism, we believe that providing this opportunity to connect will raise the bar and shift the paradigm.
Love, connection and freedom are for all people.
